During Grandparents' Day we played on turtle art.  I made a square, triangle, circle, and a special shape that looks like a backwards S.  It was pretty simple on how to make it.  You just gave the turtle the right commands and it would do whatever you wanted.

Reflection on creating spreadsheets

2/10/2014

Today in class we learned how to create a spreadsheet.  We counted the number of M&Ms in three to five different bags.  Then we recorded how many M&Ms there were for each color and each bag.  Then we made a chart recording the data.  It taught us a lot and will help us in future times.

Also, for extra credit, we could try to find out how to calculate a formula.  Most people figured out how to do this.  This will also help in the future if we want to calculate big numbers and don't have a calculator.

Overall, this was a very successful class.

Here is a picture of the graph I made.

We use many tools in school.  Some of these tools are Keynote, Pages, iTalk, Dropbox, Google Drive, Haiku Deck and notability.  These tools are useful for school.   They help us make documents and presentations.
